We keep this short and in plain English. Here’s exactly what we collect when you use sacredstudiosca.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Sacred Studios is a boutique Lagree, hot yoga, and recovery studio in Roseville, California, operated by Sacred Wellness. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Sacred Wellness doing business as Sacred Studios. This policy covers this website. Our booking and payment platform, Momence, has its own privacy policy that governs what happens inside your Momence account.
What we collect
Information you give us
- New-student sign-up form. Our contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. That form is provided by Momence and your entry goes directly into Momence, where our team follows up to get you into a class.
- Newsletter field.The email box in our footer hands your address to Momence’s sign-up page so you can opt in to studio news. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it.
- Anything you send us directly. If you email hello@sacredstudiosca.com or call 916-784-9642, we have whatever you choose to tell us — typically your name, contact details, and the reason you reached out.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, how they arrived, and whether things are working on mobile. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects a random identifier, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, the pages you view, and the site or search that referred you. We use it in aggregate; we are not trying to identify you personally through it.
We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or social-media trackers on this site. There is no Meta/Facebook pixel, no Google Ads conversion tag, and no data broker integration.
Content embedded from other companies
Some pages embed third-party content that loads directly from those companies and can set their own cookies when it does: the Momence booking and schedule widgets, a Google Maps map on our contact page, and Instagram video embeds on our gallery. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.
Why we use it
- To answer you, book your first class, and manage your membership.
- To send studio updates, schedule changes, and offers you asked for.
- To process class purchases and payments through Momence.
- To understand site traffic and improve the pages and schedule.
- To keep the studio and our systems safe, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers who need it to run the studio, under contracts that limit them to that purpose:
- Momence — our booking, membership, payment, and customer-communication platform. Sign-ups, class purchases, and membership records live there. Card details are handled by Momence and its payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement, as described above.
- Our hosting and email providers — the infrastructure that serves this site and carries our email.
- Legal and safety — if we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our students and staff. If the studio is ever sold or merged, records may transfer to the new owner subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep student and membership records for as long as you are a student and afterward as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes — generally up to seven years for financial records. Contact form entries that never become a membership are kept while they are still useful for follow-up and then removed. Google Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard retention schedule. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the following rights. We will never treat you differently for using them — same classes, same prices, same welcome.
- Know. Ask what personal information we’ve collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- Access. Get a copy of that information.
- Delete. Ask us to delete it, subject to exceptions we’re required or permitted to keep it for (like completing a transaction or meeting a tax obligation).
- Correct. Ask us to fix information that’s inaccurate.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but if that ever changes, we will post a clear opt-out link before it does.
- Limit sensitive information. We don’t collect sensitive personal information for the purposes that would trigger this right.
How to make a request: email hello@sacredstudiosca.com or call 916-784-9642with the subject “Privacy Request.” Tell us which right you’re exercising. So we don’t hand your data to the wrong person, we’ll ask you to confirm details we already have on file, such as the email or phone number tied to your account. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request even though we do not sell or share your data.
Managing cookies and analytics
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and the platforms we rely on for bookings and payments maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to send sensitive information — health details, payment card numbers, government ID numbers — by email or through the contact form.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@sacredstudiosca.com and we will delete it. Class participation by minors is arranged in person with a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — a new tool, a new integration — we’ll update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
